You’d be surprised at the demand for WordPress coders and designers these days. Whether it be premium themes, public themes, plugins, or just code/design touch-ups, people are looking for other people to fill all these types positions. But the question is, where to look for these kinds of jobs?
In this post, I’ve listed some of the best sites where Freelancers can look for WordPress-related jobs.
Freelance Switch Job Board
Freelance Switch, is a huge community of Freelancers, with tons of resources and advice. They even have their own book! Most importantly, they have a Job Board with some pretty sweet jobs. I’ve found a few there myself.
WordPress Jobs
Another brilliant service WordPress offers: Jobs. WordPress Jobs offers blogging, coding, and designing positions, so pretty much no one is left out.
SimplyHired
SimplyHired is a huge search engine just for almost any job, including a section for WordPress.
Krop
Krop is a pretty sweet place to look for jobs, as well as post jobs. With a live search, you’ll get instant results. “Fortune 500 brands and the world’s most familiar companies use Krop and its Network to locate, reach and recruit first-class talent.”
Open Source Experts
Open Source Experts is the place to look for Open Source jobs, including WordPress.
Webunload Marketplace
Webunload has recently become one of my favorite marketplaces. They have a variety of online jobs and a section where you can also sell WordPress templates and sites.
SitePoint Marketplace
One of the bigger marketplaces around the web, SitePoint offers a ton of services. You can even sell and buy WordPress templates, sites, domains, and pick up some WordPress jobs.
Talk Freelance Marketplace Forum
The Talk Freelance Forum is pretty big, discussing topics from programming to marketing to design. You’ll also find a marketplace, perfect for finding jobs and selling templates.
Digital Point Forum
The Digital Point Forum is another huge site for pretty much everything Web and design related. I always see tons of WordPress jobs and WordPress themes for sale.
All in all, there a tons of WordPress jobs out there, you just have to look in the right places. Oh and most of these job boards offer other jobs like design, illustration, writing, and programming, so fear not if you’re looking for other types of positions.
