Personally, I would still prefer to choose which ways I want to handle this (in other words, I want the functionality of another plugin implemented instead!).I'm all for making WP better, but I don't want to give it TOO much control! While I agree with a good many you named on there, I am leery of any existing plugins being implemented directly into WordPress (#27, #28, *but particularly #24!!!*).
