WPBeginner goes fully responsive with a fresh design

The web is full of people talking about making responsive, mobile-friendly websites. WPBeginner took a proactive step and made their own site responsive last month.

Their newly designed site works with difference screen sizes. I use a 1920×1080 screen resolution on my work computer. Usually, there is a lot of wasted space on the sides. Their new design splits the body into 3 columns and a sidebar. On my phone, it’s resized to a single column. No need to zoom in/out or turn my phone to landscape mode to view the website.

  1. Very nice! I appreciate the effort they’ve gone to. Taken a few queues from the new WordPress admin too! Their search icon drops off the end for me on an iPad, but it’s still a great refresh.

  2. Justin: I don’t agree with the “fill up the screen no matter how wide” design. I don’t like having to turn my head to see what’s on a page. It’s like sitting in the front row of a theater.
