The first edition of WP On Tour has been booked. It’s full of WordPress lovers from the Netherlands, Portugal, France, Switzerland and Spain. It’s scheduled to take place January 15-22, 2012 in Sitges, Spain.
If you wanted to attend but weren’t able, fear not fellow traveler. They have a form for you to fill out so they can keep you up-to-date on the next trip. If you would like more information on what WP On Tour is, be sure to check out their about page.

I thought this would be a fun idea to have a small handful of guys go to Mexico or something for a week. My thought was to get some people to sponsor it if they needed a solution to some sort of WordPress development need. I think there are ways to maybe do a kickstart sort of program to sponsor something like this and bring a bunch of great developers to some cool resort and have sort of a geek tailhook with some work sprinkled in…
