Were you aware that WordPress keeps a download counter that updates live and shows you how many downloads there have been of the currently-released version of WordPress?
Well, they do.
According to this counter, WordPress 3.0 has been downloaded over 20,000,000 times (just over 20,221,541 at the time of this writing, actually). That’s a lot of hello worlds.
