WordCamp Portsmouth took place last weekend, and while WPCandy couldn’t be there to report on the event it looks like someone far more talented was there to share their experience with the world.
Attendee and artist Lilian Tula shared a beast of a drawing via Twitpic over the weekend, detailing the finer points of her first day at WordCamp Portsmouth. You can view the full illustration (not quite safe for work) just after the jump. Also, be sure to follow the illustrator Lilian on Twitter as well.
The illustration, in all its glory:
There you have it. Do I sense a WPCandy comic in our future? Whether you are artistically inclined the way Tula is or not: how do you take notes at WordCamps? And just how badly do you wish you had been at this WordCamp?
The free drinks were, indeed, fantastic
I second that!
There’s a part two as well 😀 It has rainbows.
Ha, awesome. Is there a link to it?
Most immediate link I can get is on my Tumblr: http://liliant.me/#7796488852 Think there’s a bigger one available on my Twitter somewhere. Will have a little looksey in a minute!
Found it! http://yfrog.com/khxsrpoj
Awesome, thanks :). Post updated.
You missed out day two! http://yfrog.com/khxsrpoj
Uh, that wasn’t there when I read it first. Damn caching.
It was a fantastic conference… ‘I could create over a million themes’, love it…and Mr Gibbs, all I’ll say is you owe me one mate!
You had it covered 🙂
Really enjoyed wordcampuk 🙂
Portsmouth was my first ever WordCamp. Really enjoyed it and got so much good stuff out of it. The WP community in the UK is strong, supportive and accessible for those who want to get involved, regardless of skill level and/or experience.
I left feeling inspired and motivated. Looking forward to the next one (not necessarily in the UK…) !
Met “followers”… haha… comic makes it look like “stalkers”. Good times… looking forward to next year.
