WordCamp Philly registration is open, looking for speakers

Anyone else craving hoagies and cheesesteak right now? That’s likely because registration for WordCamp Philly, which will be November 5-6 this year, is now open. Presentations are scheduled for Saturday, and Sunday will be a developer day. Registration is $20 for Saturday or $25 for both Saturday’s and Sunday’s events.

Sponsorships are available on the registration page as well running from $100 to $2,000.

The call for speakers is posted as well. The Philly organizers are looking for speakers for all four tracks: user, power user, developer, and designer. Those interested should fill out the speaker submission form. Currently confirmed speakers include Dre Armeda, Lisa Sabin-Wilson, Brad Williams, and Justin Seeley.

Are you planning on attending—and presumably enjoying a hoagie or two at—WordCamp Philly? Will anyone be applying to be a speaker?

  1. Yeah, we saw that Gold Coast was planning for that weekend too and it was literally the DAY we got our application approved that we saw that WC Toronto was also planning for the 5-6th.
