WordCamp Melbourne launches new site design, shirt design, and haiku competition

A lot has been happening in preparation of WordCamp Melbourne on February 26th: a spiffy new site design (a Twenty Ten child theme to boot), fresh shirt design (pictured above) and a fun haiku competition. Organizer Anthony Cole is searching for the perfect haiku to represent the event, and the winning haiku will be added to the back of the new shirts when they are printed.

Maybe Cole’s right. Perhaps every WordPress group and project needs a proper haiku. If you’re planning on working up a haiku for the Melbourne competition, write one for us to and share both in the comments.

Oh, and be sure to listen to the latest WPCandy podcast, where I spoke with Cole, in part about the upcoming Melbourne event.
