Feel that weight? It’s probably version 1.6 of Gravity Forms, now available

We reported the new field type for Gravity Forms 1.6 a few months ago, and after the latest release candidate the final version is available, alive and kicking after all the development hours and testing that’s gone into it. I’m a Gravity Forms user and have upgraded — what’s keeping you?

Check just after the jump for more on the features the team at rocketgenius added in 1.6.

In Gravity Forms 1.6 you’ll find:

  • List Field
  • Multi-Select Field and Enhanced Drop Down
  • Javascript Masks
  • Radio Button Other Option
  • Date and Time Field Enhancements
  • Duplicate Fields
  • Post Field Enhancements
  • Akismet Integration
  • Trash Functionality
  • Custom Bulk Add/Predefined Choices
  • Resend Notifications and Bulk Print

Who doesn’t love new features, right? That’s not quite all. Carl Hancock of Gravity Forms posted a complete change log for Gravity Forms 1.6, which based on my count includes 84 total changes. If you’re into that sort of thing, I suggest you head on over for a read.

  1. This is one of those pro service providers that has got it right. An active community of form lovers and developers that is changing the way WordPress makes life better for people. Way awesome 🙂

Each time I walk a new person through the interface for creating forms on their site I think, “WOW, that just made their day!”
Easy to use, full featured and gives people a reason to love the form on a website 🙂
