ThemeGarden.com pre-launched, business plan becomes clearer

ThemeGarden.com, from Press75’s Jason Schuller, has not launched yet but is now up and available for your eyeballs.

Only Schuller’s own themes are available for now, though a number of authors have been invited and will likely be submitting their themes soon.

Most interesting to us, the site’s author pre-application page offers more information as to how ThemeGarden.com may become profitable. While 100% of theme sales go to authors, monthly rates are charged to list author themes. For $25/month, authors can list up to 5 themes on the site, though said themes won’t appear on the homepage of the site. For $50/month, any number of themes can be listed, and author’s themes will be promoted on the site and home page.

For the first three months there is no charge to authors, so if you’re interested at all there’s no reason not to visit ThemeGarden.com and apply to list a couple of themes. You can also follow @themegarden on Twitter.
