Oli Dale has put together a solid WordPress blog over at WPLift. His latest announcement is a WordPress plugin called Super Refer a Friend. This plugin adds a new widget to your Dashboard that, when added to a page, adds a form that visitors can use to email the page to a friend.
The widget makes placement of the form flexible, and the widget itself brings a few customization options, including title, maximum message size, and whether to include the attribution link.
The plugin isn’t listed on WordPress.org yet, but until it shows up you can grab the plugin from WPLift.
We’re friends, right? I was hoping you’d say that. Then you could say I’m referring a friend to the refer a friend plugin, so you can refer more friends. That is pretty super.
Love this idea! Was thinking of doing something similar
with Gravity Forms, but, if someone else has already done the
work… The site appears to be down right now, though.
I had done this with contact form 7 plugin earlier. Good to have a separate plugin for this purpose but I don’t get why are you so excited about it? Did I miss anything?
And yes, it is available in the repository now – http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/super-refer-a-friend/
