Tom McFarlin, the developer behind the popular jQuery plugin SlideNote, has now released his code as a WordPress plugin, ready to be activated on your WordPress site right now.
SlideNote allows you to display notifications that slide onto the screen. For a demo, visit the SlideNote home page.
The new WordPress plugin includes widgets and shortcodes for easy integration into any WordPress site. The shortcode, for example, looks like this:
[slidenote where="100" corner="right" titleElement="h2" title="SlideNote For WordPress" contentElement="p" content="This notification was created with the SlideNote For WordPress plugin."]
McFarlin invites any and all feedback on his blog. You can also follow him on Twitter at @tommcfarlin.
Thanks for the coverage, guys – appreciate it!
