It was announced on the WordPress.com blog that users of the Internet Explorer 9 Beta will be able to “pin” WordPress.com blogs to their Windows taskbar. Pinning a blog to the taskbar not only enables users to quickly launch the blog, but also provides them with easy access to common tasks like writing posts and moderating comments. To pin their own blog, users simply have to sign in to WordPress.com and drag-and-drop the browser tab into the taskbar. Blogs belonging to other users can also be pinned in the same manner.
