The popular event management WordPress plugin, Event Espresso, is looking to hire a freelance/contract PHP developer, up to 40 hours per week. Applicants can be located in Utah, or anywhere. The job listing requests that any applicants have the following experience:
- Advanced experience using WordPress plugins and themes.
- Advanced experience using Event Espresso plugins (or at least willing to quickly become a Master of our plugins).
- Advanced PHP experience, particularly with the WordPress Codex.
- Advanced MYSQL experience, particularly with respect to the WordPres Codex.
- Advanced Javascript/Jquery experience, particularly with WordPress development.
- Experience as a freelance developer.
You might remember that Event Espresso was recently awarded first prize in a Utah business plan competition. Who doesn’t want to be one of the winners?
The Espresso team is currently four strong: Seth Shoultes the founder and lead developer, Garth Koyle in marketing, Abel Sekepyan as part time developer, and Chris Reynolds in part time support. Will you be the fifth? I imagine at that point you could start a slammin’ boy band.
Hmm…if we’re a boy band, which one does that make me?
Thanks Ryan!
This is really a great time to work with Event Espresso! We have really cool plans and obviously a bright future (winning the $40k should help you realize Event Espresso is going places).
@ Chris, maybe for the next company meeting we’ll meet at the Karaoke bar and find out which one you are! 🙂
Only if I can kick it old school, NKOTB-style. None of this Backstreet stuff. 😉
