It’s time again for another WPCandy Podcast! This time we’re at episode number 25, otherwise known as the “Too elite to be free” edition. In this episode Brian and I discuss the WordPress news of the last week or so, talk a lot about plugins, and of course dish our WordPress picks for the episode.

Link-wise, this week we discussed:
- The launch of WP101Plugin.com
- The Events Calendar Pro news
- Peter Butler’s TimThumb scanning plugin
- Max Foundry’s Starter Kits news
- The launch of Pressed Ads
Brian’s pick this week was Query Posts(which has been featured on the Sweet Plugin), a plugin by Justin Tadlock. My pick was Advanced Post Manager from Shane and Peter, which I admittedly haven’t tried yet but think looks cool.

If you would like to download the podcast in MP3 format directly, you can do so here.
And as an added note: our sound should suck less than ever before on this one. So maybe it’ll be slightly more tolerable, other than the part about it being us on there. : )
Hey guys, thanks for mentioning WP101 and our new plugin in this week’s podcast.
Thanks to your earlier coverage, I’ve already gotten some great feedback about other scenarios that might benefit developers. Hope to continue to build training tools that will help developers get their clients up to speed quickly.
Thanks again. You guys rock!
Blink and you’ll miss it! 🙁 Guessing this was another recording?
My favorite Shane and Peter plugin is probably their simplest one, Image Widget. I use it on every site, speeds things up for me and it improves the usability for the clients!
Guys, I love your podcast, but the sondis always too low compare to the other podcasts I listen to. I used to listen to you in public transports on my way to work, but I can’t always hear what you’re saying, even with the sound at the max. Would there be a way to make it louder a bit?
Thanks for the feedback. I’ll see if there isn’t a way to improve the levels a bit on the next recording.
