The WordPress Plugin Directory sees updates

0

The WordPress Plugin Directory, as a part of the 3.org project, has seen a new functional and visual update in the last week. To begin with, the directory was upgraded to the bbPress trunk. Other updates included the following:

  • The “broken” link on Plugin pages now prompt the user with a new topic in the support forum, with the suggestion to explain the problem.
  • Gravatars were added in addition to author usernames on Plugin pages.
  • Plugin homepage URLs were removed.

Further updates to the directory are on the way, as the approach has been described as “iterative” multiple times in the post. To follow updates on this and other 3.org projects, keep an eye on the 3.org tag here on WPCandy.

  3. Data Structures/Data Storage
  4. WP APIs
  5. After You Code

The full chapter list is too long to include here, but can be found at the WordPress development blog.
