Good Bye, Adios, Auf Weidersehen.

I started WPCandy with Michael Castilla, hoping to stay until the end, but after a long and painful discussion with him, I’ve decided to leave WPCandy. My reasons for leaving have nothing to do with the site or Mike himself, but because I know longer have the time or effort to post on WPCandy. It’s difficult to juggle personal life, with college, work, and then still have time for WPCandy. I have barely an hour a day to myself!

WordPress Tutorials Collection

Dan Philibin, previous owner of WPCustomization, has donated his collection of WordPress tutorials from the site’s blog that he pulled prior to the sale. This collection includes tutorials, quick tips, and tricks for WordPress.

I’ll be publishing these tutorials slowlythroughout the next few days so stay tuned and enjoy.

Oh and a big thanks to Dan!

And We’re Back With Our New Theme!

Alright guys and girls, we’re back up and ready to kick some butt. What you’re on right now, is the new WPCandy theme! It may not look like your average blog, but I wanted to go with something different. Some parts of the site are still with us, so bare with us. The gallery needed a huge make-over, so you’ll notice there’s basically nothing in there (for now).

We’ll be working on getting everything sorted and fixed, as well as getting posts up, over the next few days. Expect a lot from us. Anyways, I wish you all a Happy New Years. Have a fun and safe night!

Scheduled Maintenance

Hey everyone! How’s your Winter Break been? I hope everyone had a great Christmahannukwanzaka!

Anyways, It’s been pretty quite around here at WPCandy, but behind-the-scenes, it’s been crazy! The last few weeks I’ve been working on a redesign for the site, and I’m almost finished. I’ll be releasing the new theme on New Years, as well as announcing the winner of the Holiday Contest.

The new year is rolling around the corner, so expect a lot from us. We don’t plan on disappointing. Happy holidays!

Back on topic, we’re going to be having a scheduled maintenance on New Year’s Eve to set up the new theme and get everything working properly. Thanks for sitting tight and baring with us.

The Future of WPCandy

WPCandy has been an amazing adventure so far, but I’d like to take it to the next step. Over the last few weeks, I’ve been thinking a lot about what I’d like to do with WPCandy. There are quite a few sites on WordPress nowadays so there’s gotta be a way to keep WPCandy at the top, right?

Right. But how to do so? That’s where you guys come in. Yupp, you there, sitting in your chair reading this. I want to know what you want from WPCandy and how we can make it your favorite site to visit for your WordPress fix.

I’m back! + Featured Submissions

If you’re new to WPCandy, you may think that Michael Castilla is the only main writer on this blog. Well I am pleased to announce that I have finally reappeared out of the dark after not being active for a couple of weeks!

First of all, for those readers who know who I am, I apologize for not being around and publishing posts. I’ve put a lot of pressure on Mike Castilla to get posts out because I’ve been away so long, and he’s done a great job! Well done bro! For those of you who are new, I’m Michael Cromarty, a contributing writer and administrator at WPCandy. For more information about me visit the first post we published on WPCandy.
