Automattic Theme Wrangler Ian Stewart linked up his choice WordPress and web design links. I’m happy to see WPCandy on there, of course, but even more so I enjoy the charm of a simple (and short) list of recommended websites. What new sites have you picked up and added to your feeds lately?
At the risk of sounding like a total fanboy, Ian Stewart is probably the single biggest influence on me in terms of WordPress and the fact that I now essentially make a living off of it and his Thematic framework.
It was his original “Tools for developing in WordPress”, “How to make a blank theme” and “How to make a child theme” tutorials that gave me the confidence to make designing and developing for WordPress my primary revenue stream.
It was also one of the best professional decisions I’ve ever made and I owe a great deal of gratitude to Ian for that.
In short, any list that Ian puts out is sure to garner my attention. (It was one of his tweets over a year ago that originally landed me on WPCandy.com and saw that it was added to my Reeder account.)
