Hi Ryan!
When is the next issue due?
Brg,
ClausJuly 8, 2012 at 10:43 pm #40311I’m wondering the same thing. I have the January issue….I see there is one for April and one for July. Did April go out already?
August 11, 2012 at 11:20 am #41010Dudes. I’m a little worried….I fear the worst….something tells me there isn’t going to be a next a issue….that would be bad. Very bad. I liked the first issue….there is, however, this little nagging thing about money and promises, that sort of thing. Sure would like to know what’s going on….I can take it.
August 27, 2012 at 11:52 am #41407I only received January as well — figured things were taking longer than planned as I know how that can happen. But it is now the end of August and I have no updates or e-mails about any delays or problems. Didn’t even get the e-mail in March announcing that April was shipped. I never received April or July. Wonder what is going on — I was really looking forward to this…
September 2, 2012 at 8:56 am #41460I am in the same boat, I have January, but have not received any other issues to date. Has anyone got an update on what the story or the current status?
December 3, 2012 at 4:49 pm #41831There was a post about the 2nd issue, but that was just before the WPCandy “crash” – haven’t heard anything since then. if this is not continuing, the least that could have been done is notifying everyone who signed up for a subscription. I signed up for a yearly subscription, so that one issue sure ended up being rather expensive!
December 10, 2012 at 11:02 pm #41890I can see being a bit late on delivery, but this is ridiculous.
Can anyone from WPCandy explain what’s going on or what? I payed for a one year subscription to your “Quarterly” magazine. Since when is quarterly mean one issue?
Nothing rubs me the wrong way more than paying for something with my hard earned money and then receiving little or no value for it…
What’s up guys? At least an explanation is in order, don’t you think? Anybody home there?…
February 18, 2013 at 3:34 pm #42416Can you guys confirm if WP Candy quarterly is dead?
I bought a year subscription..
February 26, 2013 at 4:59 pm #42421Anyone expecting answers from Ryan & WPCandy will be sorely disappointed (though I hope to be proved wrong!!). This is a classic example of customer service failure, with absolutely no response regarding this matter. I also purchased a year subscription, thinking this was a great way to support WPCandy and their efforts in bringing users and the community a quality published magazine about WordPress. The first issue certainly did deliver and I’m certainly grateful for that, but the failure to follow through and deliver what was promised and paid for is inexcusable. Common courtesy would be to provide some answers – I don’t care what they are, but we are owed an explanation, period. What is even more ridiculous is the continuous blog posts as if nothing has happened with the Quarterly magazine – insulting!
